As founder of Safety Connections, Inc. Jim brings a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of safety. With 33 years of experience in the industry, including seven years as President of Sheboygan's County's Safety Council, he is expertly qualified to work with your company.
Jim led a fortune 200 company's safety program. His work resulted in an 87% reduction in lost time and claims paid. This amounted to over $500,000 in savings in a single fiscal year.
Jim currently serves on the National Business Advisory Council. He has served as chairman of the board at Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland, Wisconsin: Was President of a UAW plant; served on the Police and Fire Commission of Sheboygan Falls; and was elected to the USSSA Hall of Fame for the State of Wisconsin. In addition, Jim has organized, implemented, and taught numerous safety related seminars and training programs. |

Phyllis Felsinger, Vice President, has over 25 years experience in safety, workers' compensation, training/developement, and human resource management. Her knowledge and passion for safety have successfully led private and public sector corporations toward safety compliance and injury prevention. Her guidance has benefited in safer work evironments, reducing injury rates by 60 percent, lowered lost workday cases 80 percent, and decreased injury costs over 50 percent.
Phyllis is a member of the Sheboygan Area Safety Council and past Board member. She is a practicing Human Resource Generalist and is certified as a Senior Prefessional in Human Resources. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Managers (S.H.R.M.), past president and Board member. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Sheboygan Literacy Council, was awarded Lakeshore Technicals College's Educational Leadership Award, and is a recipient of Thams Industries' President's Award. |

As the Administration and Business Development Manager, Mike has over 15 years of Supervisor and Management experience.Having served both the manufacturing and trucking sectors in the areas of Supervision, Purchasing, Scheduling, Inventory Control, Project Management and Operations, Mike has gained extensive knowledge of the importance of Safety and productivity in the workplace. Mike is a graduate of Lakeshore Technical College with high honors; he is also an Academic Award recipient. He is a member of the Wisconsin Safety Council, the Sheboygan Home Builders Association; he is a past President and board member of the Sheboygan Transportation Association, and currently serves as the President of the Sheboygan South touchdown Club. |

Tina Reiss acts as our Safety Specialist. She has 10 years of safety expertise and is an authority on safety compliance. She works diligently with clients to reduce injuries and related costs; her passion is raising employee safety awareness.
Tina’s management experience and varied background in customer service, production, environmental, and library science offer clients a broad knowledge base. Her experiences heightened her interest in safety and solidified the importance of using teamwork to achieve the goal.
Tina is a graduate of Nicolet College and is pursuing further education. She is currently a member of the Wisconsin Safety Council and the Sheboygan Home Builders Association. Tina is involved with the Girl Scouts, and has been affiliated with Big Bothers and Big Sisters, and the Red Cross. Tina served as member of the United States Air Force’s Family Service and received several awards for her Community Service. |

Dawn Koch, compliments the SCI team with 10 years of hands-on safety experience. Her past role as a safety specialist helped to ensure safety compliance at a large local company. Her forte is injury analysis, safety program development, accident investigation, injury prevention, and safety training.
Dawn is an alumnus of UW-Sheboygan and Lakeland College, graduating summa cum laude. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Science and Business Management. Her experience in product scheduling, computer programming, and web page design bring clients multi-dimensional talent.
Dawn is involved with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, is a past board member for People to People, and is currently seeking A.P.I.C.S. certification. |
